BANKERS' HANDBOOK

This is my sincere effort to make brief but important contents for professional bankers of commercial banks. This book provides a comprehensive introduction to theoretical and applied issues relating to the banking industry. The contents are organized into four main Sections: Introduction to Bank and Banking, General Banking, Credit Management and Foreign Exchange & Foreign Trade.

Over recent times there has been a lack of a comprehensive yet accessible hand book that deals with a broader spectrum of introductory banking issues for the bank employees to prepare themselves for Promotion and Diploma Examination. I have attempted to fill that gap through the contents of the book.

Bankers' Handbook on General Banking, Credit Management and Foreign Exchange & Foreign Trade is designed keeping in view the specific skill needs of banking professionals in handling their portfolio in a bank. Each unit in the book is important and efforts have been made to provide latest developments/guidelines in the relevant fields to acquire the cutting edge knowledge by the reader.
